Target and Lowe’s Home Improvement are also near the east entrance of the subdivision.

2 miles northeast of the subdivision is Franklin Square Plaza. International Foods grocery is located here. Across Franklin Square Plaza is another grocery, Lagrusa Meat & Fruit Ranch. Beside the grocery are 3 restaurants namely Baghdad, Joe Bologna Trattoria, and Pain D’or Bakery..

Brinston Park is adjacent to the subdivision. Amenities include two ball diamonds, two tennis courts, a basketball court, two soccer fields and a barrier-free play structure. The park also has restrooms, a picnic shelter and parking.

Beaver Trail Park is 1.5 miles north. The park offers a paved walking path, picnic tables, Sand Volley Ball and a barrier-free play structure. There is no restroom at this site.

Somerset Collection is 4.7 miles west. It is a luxury mall with more than 180 stores and is co-owned by The Forbes Company. Some of the top luxury retailers present in this mall are Cartiers, L.K. Another mall located 1.8 miles south is Oakland Mall Shopping Center. It has about 120 stores that are anchored by Macy's, JCPenney, and Sears. Eva Haus Subdivision Freeway Access

Eva Haus is located 1.5 miles north of I-75. The subdivision is a 30-minute drive to Downtown Detroit, a 10-minute drive to North Troy Corporate Park, and a 20-minute drive to Pontiac.

Southeast Michigan’s technology cluster is located in Automation Alley. It is 1 mile west. It is home to several companies like Inergy Automotive Systems, Electric Charging Station, and NBS Commercial Interiors.

Oakland University is 12 miles north. This school was established in 1957, and it offers 132 undergraduate and 124 graduate academic programs. It is also a doctoral research university. There are approximately 19000 students enrolled and average tuition fees are $9,280 for freshmen and sophomores; $10,142 for juniors and seniors. Oakland does not charge any fees. Oakland Community College is a few steps south of Oakland University. It is one of the largest community colleges in Michigan and in the US.   

Wayne State University is 18 miles south. It's a public school that offers 187 program options. Students have the option to get bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorates. Areas of study available at Wayne State include biology, journalism, international business, teacher education, engineering technology, medicine, linguistics, pharmacy, law, psychology and art, among many more.
