Terror on Tillson Street
Last Two Weeks of October
117 Tillson St #121, Romeo, MI 48065
Terror on Tillson Street is a free, family friendly event which takes place every year in Romeo, MI during the month of October. Typically when you visit Tillson Street during the year you’ll find the street lined with charming, historic homes dating back to the 1850’s, but don’t let that charm fool you. Each October over 30 of these homes are elaborately decorated by the homeowners to take Halloween to the next level while creating a safe environment for families and trick-or-treaters alike! This event does draw massive crowds, however the street is closed down to traffic during designated trick-or-treat hours.
Not only is this free event fully funded by the generous homeowners of Tillson Street who hand out over 60,000 pieces of candy each year, but it also greatly benefits the community through fund-raisers of selling Tillson Street t-shirts and cookbooks. Proceeds raised go to the Romeo High School vocational and athletic programs, US Veterans, and a special day organized in combination with the Kids Kicking Cancer Organization where about 50 children and their families that are fighting juvenile cancer visit are provided an exclusive day on Tillson Street for trick-or-treating.
For the best experience, we recommend visiting Tillson Street for your trick-or-treating, or closer to the end of the month when decorations are more likely to be complete.
