Downtown Farmington is 2.5 miles northeast of Green Hill Commons. It is nestled in the southwest corner of Oakland County and is within easy reach of four major freeways. Downtown Farmington's Sundquist Pavilion and Riley Park host the Saturday Farmers Market; Rhythmz in Riley Park, a free Friday summer concert series; and other activities. The landmark Farmington Civic Theater could also be found here. Restaurants in Downtown Farmington offer a wide variety of foods, from casual dining, to formal dining, to international cuisines. The picnic shelter is available on a "first-come" basis, but may be reserved in advance for a nominal fee. Also located in Heritage Park are the Spicer House, Stables Art Studio, Day Camp, Nature Center and Amphitheatre buildings.
