Governor Warner Mansion and Museum, located 4.4 miles via Halsted Road and Grand River Avenue, is the former home of Michigan governor Fred Warner (1905-1911). Museum is open March to December, Wednesdays and the first Sunday of each month 1-5pm. During the Founders Festival, the third week in July, the Museum is open Friday 1-5pm, Saturday 12-8pm, and Sunday 12-4pm. Tours, conducted by docents, will be given during hours of operation. The Museum can arrange additional tours for groups any day if requested. Also, Grounds are available for weddings but need to be booked in advance.

Country Hills Montessori was established in 1985. Located 6 miles via 12 Mile Road and Farmington Road, it is privately owned and operated. It is licensed by the State of Michigan Department of Human Services Bureau of Children and Adult Licensing and are a member of the American Montessori Society. The mission is to provide an enriching educational and challenging environment through independent learning and exploration where each child is encouraged to grow to his or her fullest potential academically, socially, and emotionally which will lead to success in future educational settings.    

Warner Upper Elementary School is a public school with 828 students in grades 5-6, located 5.9 miles via Halsted Road and W 14 Mile Road. The mission of the Warner Upper Elementary School staff, parents, and community is to provide each student with a safe, supportive and engaging environment, a diverse education emphasizing excellence in achievement, and skills enabling them to become self-sufficient and respectful citizens who contribute responsibly to the world.

O.E. Dunckel Middle School is a public school located 3.2 miles via 12 Mile Road. It has 782 students in grades 7-8. According to state standards, 65% of students at this school are considered proficient in math and/or reading. In 2015, O.E. Dunckel Middle School ranked better than 90.3% of middle schools in Michigan.

Harrison High School (also known as "Farmington Harrison" or simply as "Harrison") is a four-year secondary institution, located 4.4 miles via 12 Mile Road. The schools fields students from the cities of Farmington and Farmington Hills, and a portion of West Bloomfield Township. As of the 2015-2016 school year, the school educates a student body of 1,083. Harrison High School’s Mission is "to develop students to be caring and engaged learners who make informed decisions as they become internationally minded in their stewardship of the world and its resources." Harrison's mascot is the Hawk and its colors are green and gold. In March 2016, the Farmington school board announced that the school will be closed following the 2018-19 academic year, citing lower student populations in the city of Farmington Hills.

North Farmington High School is located 3.2 miles via W 13 Mile Road. The school was established in 1961, and, as of the 2014-2015 school year, educates a student body of 1,246. North Farmington does not assign class rank.
