Summit Subdivision Location

Summit homes are located north of W 11 Mile Rd and east of Beck Rd.

A short walk north of the subdivision is Providence Park Hospital. This all-private room hospital was opened in October of 2005. Services they offer are general surgery, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, pediatric services, and other medical and surgical specialties. There's also an outpatient center that offers services for outpatient surgery, endoscopy, imaging, laboratory and other physician subspecialties. 

The closest mall from Summit Subdivision is Novi Town Center. It is 2 miles east. Novi Town Center has restaurants, department stores, and grocery stores. Restaurants include Sip Organic Juice & Bar, Tony Sacco's, Potbelly, Sandwiches, Pei Wei, Diamond Jim, Brady's Bistro, Bonefish Grill, The Big Salad, Bagger Dave's and Athenian Coney Island. Department stores inside the mall are Hobby Lobby, T.J. Maxx, and Walmart. Other front liners of the mall are One of a Find Furniture & Accents, Shoe Carnival, Oreck Clean Home Center, and Big Frog. Stores for ladies are Cristopher & Banks, Torrid, Dressbarn, Lane Bryant, and Plato's Closet.

Twelve Oaks Mall is north of Novi Town Center. This store is well known as one of the biggest malls in South Michigan. It has a great parking space designed to accommodate customers and give them convenience especially during holidays. The mall is so huge but it has an easy-to-navigate layout.  Some of the restaurants inside the mall are A&W All American Food, California Pizza Kitchen, Max & Erma's, Mrs. Fields, Cafe Bistro, Lakeshore Grill, Olga's Kitchen, Starbucks, The Cheesecake Factory and Taco Bell. Ladies can shop at Armani Exchange, Aeropostale, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Athleta, bebe, Buckle, Gap, Garage, H & M, and a lot more. Department stores inside the mall are Macy's, Nordstrom, Sears, Lord & Taylor, and JCPenney. 

The closest park from the subdivision is Ella Mae Power Park. It is located behind the Novi Civic Center. This park hosts adult softball tournaments. It has been actively renovated in the past years for improvement of the field, landscapes, signage, and lighting. Facilities include 2 baseball fields, a playground area, sand volleyball, soccer field, 4 ball fields for softball, restrooms, and a concession. There are also natural features such as creeks, water lands, nature trails, and woodlands. Adjacent to Ella Mae Power Park are Novi Civic Center and Novi Public Library.   

Lakeshore Park is another park 2.7 miles north. This park’s amenities include swimming, bike trails, picnics, camping, horseshoe pits, and BBQ. Novi in the park attracts hundreds of families during the summer. The mountain bike trail is also popular for an intermediate and experienced rider of bikes. This 10-mile long trail includes a variety of terrain for an extra challenge. This trail is also good for walking and cross-country skiing.  

Summit Subdivision Freeway Access

Summit homes are 1.3 miles south of I-96.

Novi Civic Center is 2.6 miles southwest. It is the home of government offices in the city of Novi. These are the office of the city clerk, city manager, city treasurer, and community development.

Novi Public Library is beside Novi Civic Center. The library has a lot of parking spots. The library has a small cafe selling foods and beverages. There are several study rooms, computers, and a kids section with games and toys. There's also a self-checkout area so you don't have to wait.

Along Grand Ave. in Novi are numerous companies to work for. The Japan Auto Parts Industries Association, North America also has offices in Novi. It is north of W 9 Mile Rd and is 4 miles southeast.

6.7 miles southwest is Northville Tech Center for more work areas. It is where numerous globally-known automotive companies are located. Some of the notable companies here are Aisin Technical Center of America, IAV Automotive Engineering, RCO Technologies, Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America, Inc, ZF Friedrichshafen AG, and a lot more.

Downtown Northville is 4.4 miles south. Canton-Plymouth-Mettetal Airport is 11 miles south and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport is 27 miles south.

They accept grades 9-12. Koby International Academy, now known as Sundai Michigan International Academy, is another private school 4 miles southwest of Summit subdivision. It is across PNC Bank. South University is located 4 miles northeast of Summit Subdivision. The main courses offered are business and medical courses. This school is also known for offering online courses. There are 18,370 enrolled and the acceptance rate is 33%.
