Within the subdivision is Sylvan Park. It’s a 12-acre park that offers a play area for kids, picnic tables and tennis courts. Swift Run drain runs through the park. Another park is located a short walk west. Scheffler Park, a 5.52-acre park contains play area, half-basketball court, volleyball court, rollerblading/hockey court, picnic tables and grills, softball field, drinking fountain, and a portable restroom in the summer. Mallett’s Creek runs through the middle of the park with a pedestrian bridge connecting the two sections. The park also has a parking area. If you prefer a bigger park, you can choose to Buhr Park which is 2.5 miles west. It offers softball diamonds, play equipments for kids, tennis courts, a basketball court, a sledding hill, an open field play, open pool and an open-air ice arena (open in the fall/winter.

Aside from shopping and dining, Ann Arbor is also proud to offer the biggest stadium in the US and the 2nd largest in the world. Michigan Stadium, also nicknamed The Big House is 4 miles west. The stadium is used for University of Michigan's main graduation rites, and also for NHL and soccer games.
