Salem High School (formerly Plymouth-Salem High School) is located 7.1 miles via Cherry Hill Road and N Canton Center Road. This school is part of the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park that operates a joint academic program and, for most sports, individual athletic programs. Certain extracurricular activities, such as choir, orchestra, the Plymouth-Canton Marching Band, the FIRST Robotics Team, equestrian, figure skating, girls hockey, and the united dance team are combined. Salem Highs School has a total enrollment of more than 2300 students. Within the school is a writing center, and a math lab, which offers free tutoring service for students' writing, and additional help for students' math respectively. FIRST Robotics team number 862. This team competes at the district, state, and world levels. They have won several district competitions and recently won 1st place at the Bedford District event and also placed rank 17th at the World Championship and was also ranked 3rd at the World Championship in 2013. 

1.8 miles southwest of Palmer Road is MIAT College of Technology. Since 1969, MIAT has been providing students with vocational career training and has established a comprehensively equipped campus in Canton. The campus provides technical training in Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR), Aviation Maintenance, Energy & Industrial Tech, Wind Power, and  Aircraft Dispatch. MIAT has been named GI Jobs Magazine Military Friendly School 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013.
