A mile west, next to University of Michigan is another grocery, Lucky Market. Along S State St, which is the street east of U of M are Biercamp (another grocery) and several restaurants including Revel and Roll, Benny’s Family Dining and Stadium Deli & Liquor.

3 miles from the subdivision is Huron Hills Golf Course. It is a par 67, 18-hole, 5,071-yard golf course adjacent to Gallup Park. Gallup Park is one of the most popular recreation areas in Ann Arbor. It boasts a countryside setting with its walkways along Huron River and Geddes Pond. The park also offers playgrounds, picnic areas and grills. There are also open spaces for biking and running.

Aside from shopping and dining, Ann Arbor is also proud to offer the biggest stadium in the US and the 2nd largest in the world. Michigan Stadium, also nicknamed The Big House is less than a mile west. The stadium is used for University of Michigan's main graduation rites, and also for NHL and soccer games.
