Near the entrance of the subdivision are several stores including Vintage Market-they sell fresh meat, fresh produce, seafood, deli, hot food, lotto, fine wine and liquor. They also allow check cashing. Across Vintage Market are Sunoco gas station, Bakery Jill and Fratelli’s Pizza and Fish Fry.

Less than a mile south of London Townhouses are more stores and dining. One is Kroger. Kroger has several sections that grocery shoppers adore, such as Adult Beverage where cocktails, craft beer and great wines are sold, Deli and Bakery where one can find all party platters needs, cakes and Murray's Cheese. Kroger also has Fresh Produce section, Meat and Seafood section, and Natural Foods section. Now, the mall features more than 100 inline stores, with JCPenney, Sears, and Kohl's serving as anchor stores. MJI Westland Grand Cinema 16 is half a mile south of Westland Shopping Center.
