Michael Perna

CEO

Michael has been in real estate for over 24 years and has helped more than 8,000 families buy and sell homes across Metro Detroit. He founded The Perna Team in 2010 and has grown it into one of the most productive residential real estate teams in Michigan, consistently closing over $200 million annually.

A Farmington Hills native, Michael got his real estate license at 20 and bought his first home the same year. He built his business the hard way, survived the 2008 crash, and came out the other side with a team and systems designed to serve clients at the highest level.

When he's not leading the team, Michael is a serious runner who has completed the Detroit Free Press Marathon 16 years in a row and is working toward finishing all six Abbott World Marathon Majors. He's also a self-proclaimed nerd who loves fantasy novels, board games, and the occasional Star Wars debate.


Austin Pothast

Director of Sales

Austin joined The Perna Team in 2018 and now serves as Director of Sales, overseeing the agents and ensuring every client gets the level of service the team is known for. During his time, the team has grown from 30 agents to over 115 and from $90 million to over $200 million in annual sales.

With involvement in over 10,000 transactions totaling more than $2 billion in sales, Austin has seen just about every situation a buyer or seller can face. That experience means he knows what works, what doesn't, and how to solve problems before they become problems.


Sadie Callegari

Director of Coaching & Training 

Sadie Callegari is the Director of Coaching & Training for the #1 real estate team in Michigan, The Perna Team. She has helped over 250 families personally and has taken that experience to coach the 120+ agents on The Perna Team to get into production, objection handle like rockstars, and have all-important work/life balance. She is a wife and mom who believes in the power of gratitude, that your calendar can truly change your life, and that massive action creates big results.

Sadie loves working with clients in the largest financial transaction of their lives. Home moves are often wrapped up with big life events - babies, marriage, death, & divorce. It's a privilege to help people navigate these situations and find a home that works well for their family. The parts of being a realtor she loves the most are helping first time buyers start the process of gaining financial wealth through their first home, helping sellers get the value for their home that matches the love they put into it, and finding amazing things about Michigan communities that her clients love & share.


Lori Mulholland

Lori joined The Perna Team in 2019 and found her calling in helping agents launch successful careers in real estate. She guides new agents through the licensing process and supports them as they grow, and there's nothing she loves more than watching someone build confidence and create a career they're proud of.

Before joining the team, Lori spent 16 years in event marketing and coordination, where she developed strong organizational and relationship-building skills. She still helps coordinate team events today. Lori holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Oakland University.


Takima Addy

Takima comes from a large family with seven siblings, and she has a cat named Rose-man — whose name was Rose before they discovered he was, in fact, not female.
