Field elementary School

It is a public regular school with 391 enrolled students in elementary levels, providing services for grade levels PK-5. The school ranked better than 52.7% of elementary schools in Michigan. The student/teacher ratio at Field Elementary School is 14.6, which is the 4th best among 15 elementary schools in the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools District.

Dodson Elementary School

A public magnet school enrolls 561 students in grades PK and K-5. According to state standards, 86% of students at this school are considered proficient in math and/or reading. In 2014, Dodson Elementary School ranked better than 97.1% of elementary schools in Michigan. It also ranked first among 15 ranked elementary schools in the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools District.

Crescent Academy International

A private, college preparatory, Islamic school enrolling 423 students in Montessori preschool up to 8th grade. The school is located in Canton, Michigan in the western suburb of Detroit. Crescent Academy was founded in 1991 by the Michigan Education Council and opened its doors after the completion of its new $2.4 million school facility. Crescent Academy provides a comprehensive instructional program that offers students a broad rand of both academic and religious subjects, including Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, Language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, health, art and physical Education. In addition to these core subjects, the school offers various mini courses and other educational activities for special interest to students. The school's academic program includes various field trips that take students to many places of educational interest and value. The school participates in intramural basketball and volleyball, and plans are underway to have student council and a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society.

Canton Charter Academy

A part of the National Heritage Academies (NHA), which is a for-profit charter school management organization that was formed in 1995 by entrepreneur J. C. Huizenga. As charter schools, NHA schools are publicly funded schools and charge no tuition. They are authorized by state-approved institutions such as universities and school boards, and therefore have no geographic boundaries. Canton Charter Academy has 737 students in grades K-8. In 2014, Canton Charter Academy ranked better than 96.4% of elementary schools in Michigan. According to state standards, 84% of students at this school are considered proficient in math and/or reading.

Canton Preparatory High School

This school serves more than 800 students from grades 9 through 12. Parents choose Canton Prep for their child’s high school career because of the smaller school environment, the moral focus infused throughout the curriculum, the individualized attention students receive and the high academic standards and rigor that is characteristic of the educational program.

Aside from the school's curriculum, they also offer college counseling and academic tutoring. In college counselling, both the students and parents are guided through the post-secondary planning process and to create plans for college or other post-secondary experiences. Academic tutoring is designed in a uniquely supportive environment that encourages the success of all students. The teachers partner with parents to form a cohesive unit of support that guides and inspires students. The school offers free tutoring programs, as well as online learning materials.

Salem High School

One of the three public secondary schools that encompasses the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park.  Salem High School has more than 2,000 students from grades 9-12. Students have the opportunity to run a restaurant (the Rock Cafe in Salem), work in a preschool, produce a news program that airs during school three times a week, work in an auto shop, be involved in either of the two theatre groups, and work in one of the Park's three school stores. The Salem High School offers band, orchestra, and choir courses, ranging from beginners to pre-professional. The school has a writing center, and a math lab, which offers free tutoring service for students' writing, and additional help for students' math respectively. Earning a college degree is all about opening up opportunities in life. It prepares an individual, both intellectually and socially, for their career and adult life.

Davenport University

A private, non-profit, multi-location university located 9.8 miles via I-275 N. It was founded in 1866, and currently offers associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees, diplomas and post-grad certification programs in business, technology, health professions, and graduate studies (MBA). The campus contains one academic building, a field house/student activities center, two suite style residence halls, and one traditional style residence hall with a full cafeteria. Davenport University offers 50 areas of study and confers degrees from its four colleges. The university has a faculty-student ratio of 20:1 and an acceptance rate of 93%. With a current approximate estimate of 13,500 enrolled students, this university specializes in business majors, with the Business Administration and Management program being the most popular major at the university with close to 20% of enrolled undergraduate students. Other popular majors include: Accounting, Business/Commerce, Marketing/Marketing Management, and Human Resources Management.

Wayne State University

A public research university that offers more than 380 programs to nearly 28,000 graduate and undergraduate students. Located 7.7 miles via N Haggerty Road, it is currently Michigan's third-largest university and one of the 100 largest universities in the United States. Wayne State's comprehensive academic offerings are divided among 13 schools and colleges: the School of business, the College of Education, the College of Engineering, the College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts, the Graduate School, the Law School, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Library and Information Science, the School of Medicine, the College of Nursing, the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, the Irvin D Reid Honors College, and the School of Social Work. Wayne State University is Michigan's only urban research university and is renowned particularly for its contributions in the sciences. In 2015, WSU bestowed its first posthumous honorary doctorate degree.
