Northville's Holiday Lighted Parade

Ring in the holiday season with the annual Holiday Lighted Parade in Downtown Northville, the official kickoff to Northville's holiday season. The theme of the parade this year is "Dreaming Of A White Christmas."

The parade will take place this Friday, November 20, 2015 at 6:30pm.

There will be awards for: Best Parade Theme, Best Holiday Spirit and Mayor’s Choice.

Complimentary hot cocoa and family photo opportunities available in Town Square before and after the parade – provided by Destiny Worship Center, First Baptist Church of Northville, Northville Christian Assembly, OakPointe Church, Ward Church and First Church of the Nazerene.

Following the parade, head over to Town Square for a community sing a long, Santa Claus welcome and tree lighting ceremony hosted by Tina Genitti and Northville Citizen of the Year Chris Johnson. Santa will receive visitors after the parade.



The Parade Route: The parade will exit the Community Center parking lot onto Cady, then take Cady-EAST to Wing Street. Turn NORTH on Wing Street and proceed to Main Street. Turn WEST on Main Street to Linden, NORTH on Linden to Dunlap, EAST on Dunlap to Hutton, SOUTH on Hutton to Main, WEST on Main to Center, South on Center to Cady, and WEST on Cady to return to the Community Center.

The parade will also feature the Northville High School Marching band, many floats adorned with festive lighting, marchers decked out in holiday gear, a fully lighted fire engine and the appearance of everyone’s favorite jolly elf – Santa Claus.

Following the parade, a community sing-along and tree lighting ceremony will take place.
