Designated areas of the district are assigned to various schools. Each elementary school and middle school has an attendance zone. Students are randomly assigned to high schools, regardless of their locations within the district. The Novi Community School District (NCSD) is the school district that governs the schools surrounding the Le Bost property, this is the school district with its headquarters located in Novi, MI. It operates eight schools. 

The board of education includes a president, a vice president, a secretary, a treasurer, and four members. As of 2011 Dr. Steve Matthews is the district superintendent. NCSD is ranked as the fourth best school district in the state of Michigan on k12 Niche and is also consistently ranked in the top 20 school districts in the state of Michigan, in many rankings. In the decade leading up to 2005, the school district's enrollment increased from 3,790 to 6,150 and the budget increased from $29 million to $60 million. Around 2005, district administrators anticipated that newly established housing developments in northern and western Novi would add 1,600 houses to the district. In 2005 the school district proposed giving random drug tests to students involved in all extracurricular activities.

Neighborhood Info

This gorgeous Le Bost property is located at the Willowbrook Estates, with homes that are nestled on spacious fenced lots, with low maintenance lawns and lush backyards. The subdivision is comprised of colonial and ranch styled homes that have brick & wood or brick and stone exteriors. 

Shortwalk west of the subdivision is Novi Ten Shopping Center. Stores in this proximity are Busch’s Fresh Food Market, Rite Aid Pharmacy, Great Lakes Ace Hardware, Pet Supplies Plus, and Credit Union Family Services Center. Restaurants within the vicinity are Happy Sushi, Subway, Maria’s Italian Bakery and Honey Tree.

Across Novi Ten Shopping Center are Little Caesars Pizza, Vintage Wine Shoppe, Sovel’s Service Center, Cottage Inn Pizza and 7-Eleven. Beside Ten Shopping Center are several stores. These are Primo’s Pizza, JJ’s Barber shop, Salon Luna, Stuart’s Ice Cream and Yogurt, and Meadowbrook Art Center.

There are residential parks within the subdivision. Brookfarm Park is a small park mainly used for soccer practices and other outdoor casual activities. It lies by the end of Ripple Creek. Orchard Hills West Park is 1 mile southwest.  This 54-acre park is still undeveloped. Amenities include open green space and nature trails.

Ella Mae Power Park is another park 2 miles west. Ella Mae Park is located behind the Novi Civic Center. This park hosts adult softball tournaments. This park has been actively renovated in the past years for improvement of the field, landscapes, signage and lighting. Facilities include 2 baseball fields, a playground area, sand volleyball, soccer field, 4 ball fields for soft ball, restrooms and a concession. There are also natural features such as creeks, water lands, nature trails and woodlands. Adjacent to Ella Mae Power Park are Novi Civic Center and Novi Public Library.   

Novi Town Center is 2 miles north, situated within the business center of Novi. Restaurants inside the mall are Sip Organic Juice & Bar, Tony Sacco's, Potbelly, Sandwiches, Pei Wei, Diamond Jim, Brady's Bistro, Bonefish Grill, The Big Salad, Bagger Dave's and Athenian Coney Island. Department stores here are Hobby Lobby, T.J. Maxx and Walmart. Other notable stores are One of a Find Furniture & Accents, Shoe Carnival, Oreck Clean Home Center and Big Frog. Ladies can also shop at Cristopher & Banks, Torrid, Dressbarn, Lane Bryant and Plato's Closet. The Novi Town Center Office is also located inside the mall. 

Twelve Oaks Mall which is an up-scale shopping center that has great variety of stores but moderate prices, located just north of Novi Town Center. It has a great layout to accommodate many people especially during holidays. Some of the restaurants inside the mall are A&W All American Food, California Pizza Kitchen, Max & Erma's, Mrs. Fields, Cafe Bistro, Lakeshore Grill, Olga's Kitchen, Starbucks, The Cheesecake Factory and Taco Bell. Ladies can shop at Armani Exchange, Aeropostale, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Athleta, bebe, Buckle, Gap, Garage, H & M and a lot more. Department stores inside the mall are Macy's, Nordstrom, Sears, Lord & Taylor and JCPenney
