This property is governed by the Holly School District. Holly Area Schools provides a safe, supportive and rigorous learning environment preparing every student to meet challenges of today and tomorrow. Holly Area Schools serves to approximately 3,400 students in Northwest Oakland County. The district has four elementary schools, one middle school, an alternative education campus, and one Class A High School.
Approximately 190 staff members are certified with the vast majority having a Master's Degree or above. Approximately 50% of the student population receives free and reduced lunch. Holly Elementary and Holly Middle School participates in the "Leader in Me" Program. Both buildings are successfully increasing student leadership and positively impacting student academic and social behaviors through the 7 Habits. The district reopened Sherman Middle School in the Fall of 2014. With this change, the middle school grade configuration will return to grades 6 - 8. This has allowed continued growth of the district's early childhood programs at the four elementary buildings.

Another busy grocery store is located 6.2 miles via Pontiac Lake Road, Kroger has several sections that grocery shoppers adore, such as Adult Beverage where cocktails, craft beer and great wines are sold, Deli and Bakery where one can find all party platters needs, cakes and Murray's Cheese. Kroger also has Fresh Produce section, Meat and Seafood section, and Natural Foods section. Holly residents enjoy going to the Detroit Model Railroad Club. Located 10.1 miles via Davisburg Road, the club was established in 1935 and is currently located in the old theater in historic downtown Holly, Michigan. The club’s O scale layout depicts the fictitious Detroit Union Railroad, a freelance double-track line running from Detroit to Dorrance, Michigan, with continuing single track and branchline service to Keatington, Millersburg, and beyond. Narrow-gage tracks interchange at Millersburg and serve customers up in the mountain region.
