Pavilion Shore Park is a short walk east of Pratt subdivision and Lakeshore Park is a short walk west. North of the subdivision is Walled Lake and Shawood Lake is located south.

Pavilion Shore Park is a small park that opened August 24, 2013. It sits on the southern shore of Walled Lake. Amenities include fishing pier, walking paths, picnic plaza, waterfront seating and parking. Pavilion Shore Park was the previous home of Walled Lake Amusement Park and Walled Lake Casino.

Lakeshore Park is a bigger park that offers swimming, bike trails, picnics, camping, horseshoe pits and BBQ. Novi in the park attracts hundreds of families during summer. The mountain bike trail is also popular for intermediate and experienced rider of bikes. This 10-mile long trail includes a variety of terrain for extra challenge. This trail is also good for walking and cross-country skiing.

Closest restaurant is Ole Ole which is 1.5 miles north. Half a mile east of Ole Ole are more restaurants like El Mariachi and Kyle's Market. East of Kyle's Market is a CVS Pharmacy. Beside CVS Pharmacy is Little Caesars Pizza, Maple Shoe Repair and Starbucks.

2.8 miles north are more restaurants that have spectacular views of Walled Lake. These are Bayside Sports Grille, Lake Plaza Sub, Pepino’s Restaurant & Lodge, Nino’s Italian Bakery, Hometoewn’s Pizza, Haang’s Bistro and UV Lounge. There are also shopping stores here like That’s WasSUP Stand Up Paddle LLC, Cherry Love Boutique, Audra’s Addiction, Le Shoppe and Frame Shop.

Providence Park Hospital is 4 miles southwest. This is a newer hospital that opened on October of 2005. This hospital has all private rooms. Hospital services include Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Women's and Pediatric Services, and other medical and surgical specialties. The hospital also has an outpatient center. Outpatient services include outpatient surgery, endoscopy services, imaging, laboratory and other physician subspecialties.

1.2 miles south of Pratts subdivision is Twelve Oaks Mall. It is a well-known shopping center that has great variety of stores but moderate prices. It has a great layout to accommodate many people especially during holidays. Some of the restaurants inside the mall are A&W All American Food, California Pizza Kitchen, Max & Erma's, Mrs. Fields, Cafe Bistro, Lakeshore Grill, Olga's Kitchen, Starbucks, The Cheesecake Factory and Taco Bell. Ladies can shop at Armani Exchange, Aeropostale, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Athleta, bebe, Buckle, Gap, Garage, H & M and a lot more. Department stores inside the mall are Macy's, Nordstrom, Sears, Lord & Taylor and jcpenney.

Another big mall is located south of Twelve Oaks Mall. They’re divided by I-96. Novi Town Center have numerous restaurants and shopping stores to choose from. Restaurants inside the mall are Sip Organic Juice & Bar, Tony Sacco's, Potbelly, Sandwiches, Pei Wei, Diamond Jim, Brady's Bistro, Bonefish Grill, The Big Salad, Bagger Dave's and Athenian Coney Island. Department stores here are Hobby Lobby, T.J. Maxx and Walmart. Other notable stores are One of a Find Furniture & Accents, Shoe Carnival, Oreck Clean Home Center and Big Frog. Ladies can also shop at Cristopher & Banks, Torrid, Dressbarn, Lane Bryant and Plato's Closet.
