Deerbrook Subdivision is located south of 9 Mile Rd and west of Meadowbrook Rd.

Closest grocery and restaurants are located at Novi Ten Shopping Center which is 1 mile north. There are also stores outside the shopping center. Some of these are Busch’s Fresh Food Market, Rite Aid Pharmacy, Great Lakes Ace Hardware, Pet Supplies Plus, and Credit Union Family Services Center. Beside is Citizens Bank. Restaurants here are Happy Sushi, Subway, Maria’s Italian Bakery and Honey Tree. Across Novi Ten Shopping Center are Little Caesars Pizza, Vintage Wine Shoppe, Sovel’s Service Center, Cottage Inn Pizza and 7-Eleven. Beside Ten Shopping Center are several stores. These are Primo’s Pizza, JJ’s Barber shop, Salon Luna, Stuart’s Ice Cream and Yogurt, and Meadowbrook Art Center.

2 miles northwest is Walgreens. Across Walgreens are Novi Sports Bar & Grille and Penn Station East Coast Subs. Speedway Gasoline Station is also here.

Closest parks are Rotary Park and Orchard Hills West Park. Rotary Park is half a mile west. This park has a nice trail hike through the woody areas and is perfect for walking your pets. Front part has a playground equipped with swings, merry-go-round and jungle gym. In the middle part is a pavilion with a fireplace. There are also 4 baseball diamonds.

Twelve Oaks Mall is north of Novi Town Center. Twelve Oaks Mall is an up-scale shopping center that has great variety of stores but moderate prices. It has a great layout to accommodate many people especially during holidays. Some of the restaurants inside the mall are A&W All American Food, California Pizza Kitchen, Max & Erma's, Mrs. Fields, Cafe Bistro, Lakeshore Grill, Olga's Kitchen, Starbucks, The Cheesecake Factory and Taco Bell. Ladies can shop at Armani Exchange, Aeropostale, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Athleta, bebe, Buckle, Gap, Garage, H & M and a lot more. Department stores inside the mall are Macy's, Nordstrom, Sears, Lord & Taylor and jcpenney. 

Providence Park Hospital is 5 miles northwest of Deerbrook homes. This is a newer hospital that opened on October of 2005. This hospital has all private rooms. Hospital services include Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Women's and Pediatric Services, and other medical and surgical specialties. The hospital also has an outpatient center. Outpatient services include outpatient surgery, endoscopy services, imaging, laboratory and other physician subspecialties.

Across Providence Park Hospital are several stores and restaurants like Kroger, The Home Depot, Outback Steakhouse, Olga’s Kitchen, Applebee’s, Leo’s Coney Island, China King, La Herradura, Staples, Halo Burger and Massage Green Spa.
