Located 4.2 miles via Napier Road, Maybury State Park on the other hand, has something for everyone. Walking, biking, running, horse riding and fishing. There are also animals and a large farm.There are miles of hiking trails that are paved and a pond that has beautifuls swans. This park is definitely a great place to enjoy weekends with your family.

Downtown Northville is located 4.6 miles via Six Mile Road and W Seven Mile Road. Downtown Northville features seven locally owned restaurants, a Great Harvest Bread, and outdoor music in the summer. The Northville District library could also be found here. Near the library are several restaurants like Koji, Tirami Su, Table 5, Rebecca's Family Restaurant and a lot more. Banks in this area are Bank of America, Monroe Bank & Trust, and Community Financial. If you're looking for entertainment, you could try Tipping Point Theatre or McGuires Fine Art Gallery. Hiller's Market is also in this area.

The Northville Historical Society, located 5.1 miles via Six Mile Road is a non-profit volunteerorganization responsible for the financing and operation of Mill Race Village and preservation of the Northville Archives. The purpose of the Northville Historical Society is to bring together those people interested in history, and especially in the history of Northville, Michigan. The Society’s major function is to discover, collect, observe, advance, and disseminate knowledge of the history of the Northville region. The village was built on 12.5 acres of land donated to the City of Northville by the Ford Motor Company. Once the site of a grist mill, the village consists of an inn, blacksmith shop, school, church, gazebo, rustic wooden bridge, a general store, an Interurban station and several homes reminiscent of an era gone by.
